Sfty Joins Resideo To Offer Award-Winning Multifamily Services In Europe

23 November 2023, Oslo, Norway  – Resideo Technologies Inc, a global provider of home comfort and security solutions, announced today that it is helping protect the safety of European apartment building residents with a new award-winning* multifamily services offering through the acquisition of sfty AS.

The sfty team, based in Oslo, are one of Norway's fastest-growing alarm companies. They currently protect over fifteen thousand Norwegian apartment building residents through powerful and user-friendly safety management software and monitored protection service that helps apartment management boards and residents create a community approach to safety.

The sfty smoke, fire and water leak alarm use radio wireless and cloud-based technology to communicate fire and water leak warnings between apartment units and communal areas.

The sfty sensor monitors and alerts to fire, smoke, temperature and humidity conditions, and since 2020 Resideo's water leak detectors have been connected to the sfty platform to alert to water leaks. The sfty service ultimately delivers on Resideo's mission to protect what matters most for its customers - the safety of individuals, their families, their homes and their communities.
