Applications and products for hydraulic balancing
Kombi-Auto
Hydraulic balancing via the Kombi-Auto automatic differential pressure regulator helps ensuring constant, preset pressures. In conjunction with pre-settable thermostatic valves, consumer-specific volume flows and therefore the correct heat distribution are possible.
Kombi-VX
The pre-settable Kombi-VX flow controller is particularly suitable for modernised single-pipe systems with a constant volume flow. It helps ensuring defined volume flows for horizontally or vertically arranged radiator groups. In conjunction with thermostatic valves on the radiator, suitable volume flows and thus improved heat distribution can be achieved.
Kombi-PICV
As an automatic, pressure-independent control valve, the Kombi PICV combines the advantages of an automatic pressure-independent flow controller with those of a temperature control valve – all in one product.
Kombi-TRV
In existing buildings with unknown pipe installations the calculation for hydronic balancing can be difficult. In these cases, the use of thermostatic valves with an integrated differential pressure regulator is an adequate solution: They regulate the volume flow directly at the heat exchanger - even with varying inlet pressure.

Transfer in local and district heating networks
Return temperature and flow rate limitation can be realised using our Kombi-QM. This dynamic balancing valve with pressure-independent flow limitation and electric servomotor prevents an excessive return temperature and thus achieves improved energy efficiency. The V6002 backflow preventer ensures correct hydraulic integration with different pressure ratios.
Centralised local and district heating distribution
Use of the V7000 differential pressure controller to achieve dynamic hydraulic balancing in systems with multiple risers and presettable thermostatic valves. Alternatively, it can also be used in local heating networks with different differential pressure requirements in the buildings. In existing systems, simple dynamic hydronic balancing is possible without a great deal of calculation work. Hydraulically decoupled, smaller systems are realised from a large system.
